‘All In The Name Of God’ is a must see film by all, non–believers and believers alike. The Director is a modern-day Paul who teaches correction to the church – he dispels man-made doctrine that Man is the head of the church, for it is only God and God alone who rules and abides on the earth. This film provokes healing for those who have been mistreated in the church and enlightens others to the fact that man is just human and he too makes mistakes, but a Godly-man will apologize for his wrongdoings. There is no need to be fearful of the title, it’s truly not incriminating. I enjoyed the film tremendously and I feel it is truly a piece inspired by God.

‘All In The Name of God’ is a "Must See" documentary on the realities of Man, Leadership and the Church. This powerful documentary is not to convict or exploit, but rather to heal and repair the whole body of Christ ... from the abuser to the victim.
Lance Gibson's documentary ‘All In The Name Of God’ is the cinematic interpretation of Mark 4:22 (NKJV) "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light."
Dr. Mark Crear, Ph.D.
First Vise-Chair, Black African American Christian Counselors (BAACC)

First of all let me say to Lance, I applaud his BOLDNESS to speak on what God placed in His spirit to do despite the negative responses, for it's just that rejection that makes a warrior continue in his mission given by God. This message will begin a change in the body, pushing the clergy to not only accept responsibility for past wrong directions given to the sheep, but willing to right them in the midst of change, make that change and share with God’s people, love by example and lead by God’s true, uncut, uncompromised Word. Overall, the film is AWESOME and whatever KJFJ can do to assist, please let me know. Thank you for allowing us to experience ‘All In The Name Of God’.

‘All In The Name Of God’ is an excellent and profound documentary of what happens when people reverence and fear church hierarchy more than God. It is a wake up call to every area of leadership in the kingdom that we need to check our integrity level daily.

‘All In The Name Of God’ will ultimately leave you to thoroughly examine your ministry covering. It will serve as a catalyst in educating one in truth as opposed to tradition. This is a 'one-of-a-kind' documentary that truly uncovers and exposes the silent ills and on-going destruction that is perpetuated with regards to Cleric abuse.
Lance Gibson has shown tremendous strength and courage in directing this documentary as he touches upon many sensitive subjects that will make you weep, rejoice, but yet ultimately give glory to God. It is truly a stepping stone for the body of Christ that will prayerfully begin an incredible journey of healing, growth and victory.

I appreciated the information and the obvious obedience to the spirit of truth. I believe it is a first step of a movement toward a newfound freedom and revived love in the body, a movement that will release a spirit of forgiveness and healing for both the church and the wounded soldiers that the Church (knowingly or unknowingly) left for dead.
Carol Anglin
Christian Cultural Center - Brooklyn, NY

I was very impressed by the film. I believe that it will help those people who were and are hurting in the church to find answers to the questions that arise when so called "men/women of God" or so called "the church of God" behave in ways that are certainly not Godly. Questions like: Is God a loving God? Am I really saved? Are these men/women really speaking for God?, and many more.
I believe that this kind of ministry is very important because it lets people know that there is an acknowledgement that these things do happen in church and that it is a human problem - not one that comes from God. God loves people and we can depend on Him. He won't harm us or embarrass us but with loving kindness, He will draw us to Himself.
Thank you Lance for a job well done. I pray that you will continue to serve the body (of Christ) in the film industry as a gift such as yours is greatly needed and profitable.
Elder Stephen Mclean

This documentary is an awesome Kingdom building tool. When the truth is revealed, the healing begins. The film will help release folks to walk in their destiny. Love rejoices with the truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6

Lance, I have reviewed the film, finally. IT IS EXCELLENT. WELL DONE MY BROTHER. I AM SURE THAT GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The documentary was different from what I expected and a real breadth of fresh air! It was very well done, tightly held one's attention, thought-provoking and generally provocative and very apt. Some excellent points may have been a little awkwardly made (eg. The amazing lack of education, independent character screening or preparation required for one to obtain clerical "credentials"), but overall very worth the trip to see it and very well done. Congratulations!!!

The Lord's church must be holy. "All in the Name of God" is a powerful wakeup call to the leadership of the church. The Church is the creation of God, not man. This documentary should be viewed by all Christians, especially those who are in leadership positions within the church.

Controversial Documentary Focusing on the Misuse of Power by Churches and Church Leadership Screens in NYC
“All in the Name of God” seeks to educate, restore and heal the victims of abuse

WHO: Director Lance Gibson’s debut documentary is highly controversial and shows the overwhelming abuse and victimization that has permeated our Churches and Church leaders and left many people scarred for life; while thankfully others have found comfort and healing.
By exposing and shining the light of truth at the cost of the church’s proverbial “dirty laundry” being exposed, Mr. Gibson hopes to set in motion the healing process for those who have been scarred and suffered unnecessarily.
You will hear first hand accounts from the victim’s themselves, as well as clergy and Christian clinical therapists, as they share their thoughts and solutions about what this type of abuse does and what needs to be done to stop the emotional, physical and spiritual abuse that has permeated society at large. Largely, our mission is to discuss what happens … “When the messenger becomes more powerful than the Message”.

WHAT: A private and intimate screening of “All in the Name of God” with selected cast members such as: Mark Jackson, former NBA Player, Escalade Jackson, AND1/ESPN Channel Host, Gary Sheffield, Detroit Tigers Baseball Player and his wife DeLeon, Gospel Recording Artist, Mr. Bobby Gibson, Director of Counseling at The Potter’s House in Texas, Dr. Stacy Scott, Psychologist, along with other clergy, politicians, mental health professionals, Bible scholars and the victims. Special Invited Guest: Grammy and Stellar Award Winning Gospel Artist, TONEX.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 4, 2007

TIME: 8:00pm – 10:00pm (64-minute documentary screening followed by a brief Q&A with some invited cast members and the director. To be moderated by a special guest)

LOCATION: Magno Sound & Video 729 7th Avenue NY, NY 10019 212-302-2505

WHY: Because abuse has become part of the norm in our churches. Have you ever wondered why someone close to you has definitively rejected the idea of going to church? Maybe a family member left church and never returned or maybe it’s YOU! Could the idea that you were victimized by clergy ever make sense to you? You never think that something like this could ever happen, but it does and it did. Now, let’s talk about stopping it.
